Standing Hawk 1

This mixed media collage was created in 2023 on a custom wood panel. Hundreds of hand cut fish are the primary resource used to depict this regal hawk. Water color, colored pencil, and vintage magazines were also used to create the image. The background is made of original antique oil and gas geological maps that were gifted to the artist from a friend’s vintage map collection. This piece is part of the artist’s new “birds of prey” series.

This is an archival print with deckled (torn) edges and the artist’s original signature.
